Roll-On Safety & Care FAQ

1. How do I use the Tilias Therapy wellness roll-ons?
Simply glide the cooling stainless steel rollerball gently over your pulse points. We highly recommend applying them to your wrists, temples, behind the ears, or the back of your neck. For our Womb Menblend, you can also roll it directly onto your lower abdomen or lower back. After applying, cup your hands over your nose and take three deep, slow breaths.

2. Are these roll-ons safe to apply directly to the skin?
Yes, absolutely. Pure essential oils are too strong to be put directly on the skin. Because of this, all Tilias Therapy roll-ons are pre-diluted with premium, lightweight Fractionated Coconut Oil. They are carefully measured by weight down to the exact gram to ensure they stay strictly within safe, professional cosmetic limits.

3. Can I go out into the sun after using these roll-ons?
If you are using our Boost Mood or Breathe Well blends, we recommend waiting 12 hours before exposing the application site to direct sunlight or UV tanning beds. These two blends contain natural citrus oils (like Grapefruit and Lemon), which can make your skin extra sensitive to sunburn. Our other blends (Deep Sleep, Unwind, Womb Men) are completely safe for sun exposure.

4. What should I do if I experience skin irritation?
While our formulas are gentle and diluted, everyone's skin is unique. If you notice any redness, itching, or irritation, do not wash it with water (water can actually drive the oil deeper into the skin). Instead, pour a little bit of plain kitchen oil (like olive oil or coconut oil) onto a paper towel and wipe the area gently to dissolve the essential oil. Discontinue use immediately.

5. How should I store my roll-ons to keep them fresh?
Store your bottles in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat (like your handbag, desk drawer, or bedside table). Our amber glass bottles are designed to protect the oils from light damage. Because we use an incredibly stable carrier oil, your roll-ons will stay fresh, potent, and beautifully scented for up to 2 to 3 years.

6. Can I use these products if I am pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition?
Because essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts, we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider or physician before using any aromatherapy products if you are pregnant, nursing, or under medical supervision.
